Former Alabama All-America defensive end John Copeland, former Alabama beat writer Chase Goodbread and recruiting analyst Mike Parker launched Crimson Cover radio in Tuscaloosa in the fall of 2009, bringing a dynamic edge to coverage of Alabama and SEC athletics like no other media outlet provided. A year later, WVUA brought Crimson Cover's edgy, unscripted commentary to television. While Crimson Cover radio was removed from the airwaves in 2013 over differences with station management, the television show continues to bring WVUA's vast, tri-state audience a unique look at the Crimson Tide.
